Job summary

Pike Corporation seeks a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing overhead distribution systems, working on energized and de‑energized lines. You will travel to job sites as needed and report to the General Foreman.

This role emphasizes safety, hands-on leadership, and knowledge of switching procedures, live-line work, and equipment operation such as bucket trucks and tensioners. Candidates should have at least five years of overhead line experience and a valid CDL.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent overhead line experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and MS Office.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew to construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe procedures.
• Oversee project quality and timely completion.
• Operate and maintain overhead line equipment.
• Climb structures and work at heights.
