Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety‑driven Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing electrical overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may travel to sites, including out‑of‑state locations, reporting to the General Foreman.

The role requires 5+ years of overhead line experience, CDL, and flexibility for on‑call/outage work. Strong safety focus and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Must be proficient with basic computer operations (MS Word, Office).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside regular hours, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Conduct pre-job safety briefings and tailgate safety talks.
• Coach and train lower classification employees in safe procedures.
• Oversee project quality and meet completion deadlines.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloves and hot sticks.
