Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an Overhead Distribution Working Foreperson to lead a crew installing and repairing overhead power lines, poles, cables and electrical systems. You will direct field work, coordinate with the General Foreperson, and ensure daily testing and safety compliance.

Requires 5+ years in power line construction, strong communication, and ability to travel for storm work. We offer health/dental/vision, disability, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, vacation, and FR clothing.

Qualifications

• Must have 18 years of age or older.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Knowledge of working with energized high voltage systems.
• Able to identify and service all required tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assists crew with all parts of the electrical system.
• Obtain daily job descriptions and follow up with General Foreperson.
• Ensure daily testing and inspection of tools and equipment.
• Enforce safety program at field level for employees.
• Ensure employees are trained and qualified to perform the work.
• Report injuries and incidents to supervision immediately.
• Perform safety inspections and conduct incident investigations.
