Job summary

Kiewit Power Delivery Engineering in Raleigh, NC, seeks an Electrical Engineer II to support overhead distribution design and project execution for utility clients across North America.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, prepare construction packages, and provide field support to ensure safe, reliable power infrastructure. EIT preferred; 2–4 years of electrical utility experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited EE degree required.
• 2−4 years in refining/petrochemical engineering.
• Able to read/apply NEC/IEEE/ANSI standards.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MicroStation or GIS.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate calculations under supervision and using established principles.
• Develop electrical data sheets for equipment and wiring schematics.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives.
• Prepare construction packages with BOMs, drawings, and specs.
• Provide field/ construction support and project closeout activities.
