Job summary

Flatiron Crane Operating Company, LLC is seeking a 2nd shift Shop Welder/Fabricator to fabricate, weld, assemble, and repair overhead cranes and related components in a shop setting. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings and performing mechanical and welding repairs to meet safety and quality standards.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in an industrial environment or equivalent military experience, with strong teamwork and customer interaction skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years in an industrial environment or similar military experience.
• Skills and experience in welding and mechanical maintenance.
• Team approach to problem solving.
• Ability to interface with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate cranes, structural steel, and other components in the shop as necessary.
• Perform mechanical and welding repairs in the shop as needed.
• Final assembly and testing of overhead cranes on the shop floor.
• Ensure that equipment is built to specification and drawings provided.
