Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 months' experience as a warehouse worker or crane operator.
• Ability to read and write in English; follow written instructions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Operate overhead cranes and related attachments; use forklift when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Operate overhead crane to load/unload railcars, trailers, and vehicles.
• Supply machine operators with steel and pull/stage for next shift.
• Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
• Keep work area clean and organized; back-up for vacations/sick days as needed.
• Occasionally operate forklift or railcar mover.
• Adhere to attendance standards and work in warehouse with varying weather conditions.
