Job summary

Carpenter Latrobe Specialty Metals, located in Latrobe, PA, manufactures high-performance specialty alloys for aerospace, energy and other demanding markets. The Crane Operator will operate electric overhead traveling cranes and move materials to and from processing units and storage areas.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to work steady or rotating shifts, including overtime and weekends.

• Ability to work steady or rotating shifts.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends.
• Experience in an industrial operations/manufacturing environment is preferable, but not required.
• Selected applicants will be required to pass a basic skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric overhead traveling crane.
• Transport material to and from processing units, storage areas, and transfer buggies.
• Keeps production records as required.
• Takes personal ownership for working safely and motivates others to maintain a safe work environment.
