Job summary

Overhead Crane Inspector-Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Overhead Crane Inspector to join our team. In this vital role, you will inspect overhead cranes and related lifting equipment to safely move heavy materials and equipment across construction sites, warehouses, or shipping and receiving areas. Your expertise will ensure efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and seamless coordination with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs on overhead cranes and below the hook lifting devices.
• Assist with other production equipment repairs as assigned.

Requirements

• Over 1 year experience as a crane inspector.
• Over 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.
• 480VAC 3-phase experience.
• Forklift experience or ability to learn required.
• Associate’s degree or greater is recommended.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; this position does not sponsor work visas.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
