Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a skilled crane maintenance technician to keep a fleet of 37 cranes operating safely and reliably. You will diagnose electrical faults, perform planned PMs, and document findings to support consistent operation.

Daily work includes triaging faults, conducting inspections, testing hoists and limit switches, and ensuring brake and control systems function correctly under time pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining cranes or heavy equipment.
• Comfort diagnosing electrical issues under time pressure.
• Strong attention to mechanical wear and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Triage overnight faults and diagnose electrical issues to restore safe operation.
• Perform reactive repairs and document findings for quick reference.
• Pivot to scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Conduct daily PM routines: inspect gearboxes, test hoist function, and verify control systems.
• Weekly/monthly checks: inspect bearings, wire rope, brakes, and electrical panels.
• Monitor for abnormal noises, oil leaks, or overheating and address promptly.
