Saia is seeking a professional truck driver to operate tractor trailers over long distances, delivering freight safely and efficiently. You will work with company terminals and customers, following DOT rules and maintaining accurate logs and paperwork.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with hazmat/tanker/twin-trailer endorsements, at least 1 year of verifiable experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• No DUI, DWI or license suspension for moving violations in past 3 years.
• No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations in past 6 months.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work flexible hours.

Responsabilités

• Drives tractor trailers to deliver and pickup freight between terminals and customer facilities.
• Travels regionally or cross-regionally with single/double/triple trailers.
• Follows pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling and billing procedures.
• Conducts inspections per safety and quality control procedures.
• Hooks/unhooks and assesses equipment per DOT guidelines.
• Maintains records, logs, forms, and load-related paperwork.
