Job summary

American Furniture Warehouse is seeking a Class A CDL OTR Driver to safely deliver and pickup goods across the country, following our safety standards and quality expectations.

Home weekly with 34–48 hours, weekly payroll, and an estimated yearly pay of 85k–130k. Benefits include medical plans, PTO, 401(k), paid orientation, and dogs allowed. Most loads are drop-and-hook, 98% no-touch freight, with detention and layover pay.

Qualifications

• CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience.
• No major FMCSA violations.
• Clean MVR with no at-fault DOT reportable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must have no restriction on CDL and be able to maintain a CDL.
• Must be based within 100 miles of AFW Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, timely and accurately.
• Operate 53' dry vans.
• Use of electronic logging device, ELD.
• Report vehicle problems to on-site maintenance.
• Comply with DOT standards while maintaining a good driving record.

As a Class A CDL OTR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods at various locations across the country. The ideal Class A CDL OTR Driver adheres to American Furniture Warehouse’s quality expectations and safety standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering our products in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
• Operate 53' dry Vans
• use of electronic logging device, ELD
• Report any vehicle problems and defects to the on-site truck maintenance department.
• Comply with all state, local and national Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a good driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment.
• No major FMCSA violations.
• Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years.
• Must have no restriction on CDL and be able to maintain a CDL.
• Must be based / live within 100 miles of an AFW Distribution Center
