Job summary

American Furniture Warehouse in Colorado is seeking truck drivers with at least 1 year of OTR experience to join our team. HOME WEEKLY with 34–48 hours of home time; most drivers get 2 days off per week.

Pre-planned trips and 98% no-touch freight help you stay productive on the road. We offer weekly payroll, paid orientation, and a benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 1yr OTR tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 3 years.
• No major FMCSA violations.
• Acceptable MVR and PSP within the last three years.
• Must be able to maintain a CDL.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to AFW's safety policies and procedures and the ability to promote awareness.
• Able to perform vehicle pre-trips up to FMCSA standards.
• Ability to operate Electronic Qualcomm Log System.
• Must be willing to chain up during severe weather.
• Must be aware that operations occur on asphalt, concrete and gravel surfaces in a hostile environment often contaminated with material subject to embedding in tires.
• Must function and interact on a routine basis with the AFW management team.
• Communicate using a cellular telephone with dispatch and AFW personnel via McLeod application.
• Ability to efficiently work independently of direct supervision.
