Job summary

Woodward Academy is seeking compassionate Overnight Youth Counselors at our on-site Woodward, Iowa location. Part-time shifts start at 11:00 PM and run to 7:00 AM, including weekends, with full training provided.

You'll support youth by building trust, guiding life skills, and creating a safe, engaging environment while collaborating with a trauma-informed team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Team-focused mindset and strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and confident in challenging situations.
• Willingness to participate in physical safety interventions when needed.
• Reliable transportation to the worksite.
• Ability to pass a full background check, including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with youth through daily interactions and activities.
• Model teamwork, accountability, and respect to encourage good behavior.
