Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking entry-level general labour associates to join the sanitation team. You will work in various sanitation departments, following strict safety procedures and Tyson policies. Able to handle physical tasks and endure hot/cold/humid environments, with long standing shifts.

Responsibilities include sanitation duties across departments, adherence to PPE and safety guidelines, and maintaining clean work areas. Prior Tyson experience not required; a strong work ethic is valued.

Qualifications

• Entry-level general labour role; no specialized skills required.

Job Details

This position is responsible for entry-level, non-skilled general labour while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks: These positions could work in any department of Sanitation. Some positions require the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds. Must work in extreme hot, cold, humid, and wet environments; use hands and arms above shoulder level; and stand or walk for 8-10 hours per day. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. The sanitation process uses bleach and other cleaning chemicals.

Hours: Monday-Friday/Saturday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-time limit. Relocation Assistance Eligible: No. Work Shift: C Shift (United States of America).
