Job summary

Landmark Snacks is seeking an Oven Operator in Beatrice, NE to supervise and optimize the cooking process. You will set up, monitor, and adjust oven temperatures and times, and inspect products during and after cooking to ensure quality. You will load and unload products for the next production step.

The role includes operating and learning equipment, maintaining schedules, and documenting process data while ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
• Willing to learn unfamiliar equipment.
• Good time management and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Capable of assessing product quality.

Responsibilities

• Cook products according to established standards.
• Maximize oven use to ensure oven is loaded to capacity.
• Prep, load, and unload ovens.
• Monitor cooking throughout the day.
• Take and record preliminary pH and water activity readings.
• Download oven graphs.
• Clean ovens on prescribed schedule.
• Make changes to oven programs as directed.
