Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, invites applications for an entry-level window assembly role in Matthews, NC. You will mass-produce insulated glass units in Vinyl or Aluminum plants, following safety and quality standards to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

No prior experience required; overtime may be available. You will learn equipment operation, PPE protocols, and how to maintain a clean, organized workspace while meeting productivity

Responsibilities

• Remove insulated glass units from the oven and arrange in harp carts.
• Operate equipment related to window assembly and train others.

• Clean equipment, floors, and work areas following safety procedures.

Performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce windows either in Vinyl or Aluminum plants by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Removes insulated glass units from oven and arranges in harp carts.
• Operates equipment related to these activities and trains less-experienced workers in equipment operation.
• Ensures that equipment used is operable and maintained in working order.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
• Able to work overtime as business needs require.
• Other duties may be assigned.
