Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Assembler Lead to supervise and guide the assembly team in producing windows, doors, trusses, panels, and stairs. You will assign tasks, monitor output, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least two years of component assembly experience and prior carpentry/manufacturing background. You will train new workers, rotate through stations as needed, and help maintain efficient production workflows on

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in component assembly or equivalent education/experience
• Prior carpentry or manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign tasks to assembly team to meet daily/weekly goals
• Track and report team efficiency and output
• Train new assemblers in techniques, tooling, and safety procedures
• Work across multiple stations as product models change
• Assemble components by fastening parts together and aligning parts correctly
• Remove defective products and support quality checks
• Operate and monitor assembly machinery as required
• Maintain clean and safe working area as per procedures
