Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a dependable Glass Handling/Industrial Worker to join our production team. The role includes moving and loading glass, operating washers, and supporting production lines in a fast-paced environment.

No formal education or experience is required, but you must follow safety procedures, lift up to 100 pounds, and be willing to work overtime as needed. This position offers the chance to grow into broader manufacturing roles at BFS.

• May work at different stations as production needs require.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Removes glass from A-Frame Cart or Rack
• Sets glass on conveyor belt of washer
• Picks up specific LowE glass and runs all four sides through an edge delete table before setting on washer conveyor
• Changes the water filters on the washer as needed
• Flushes the water tanks at the end of each shift/day
• Changes the air filters on the washer as needed
• Tests the LowE detector at the beginning of each shift
• Delivers carts to Glass Washer
• Ensures that equipment used is operable and maintained
• May be required to work at different work stations as production needs require
• Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures
• May be required to work overtime as business needs require
• Other duties may be assigned
