Job summary

ResourceMFG is seeking Machine Operators with GMP experience in the High Point, NC area. You will follow GMP and safety protocols, set up and operate equipment, and maintain accurate production and quality logs.

Responsibilities include moving pallets with a pallet jack, identifying quality issues, communicating with team members, performing routine cleaning, and lifting up to 25 lbs. The shift is long -- 8 to 12 hours -- with standing and walking required.

Qualifications

• GMP exp or familiarity with GMP requirements.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and documentation practices.
• Understanding of quality control and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP and site safety programs and procedures.
• Operate and adjust equipment per machinery specs and quality parameters.
• Meet production efficiency standards for the shift.
• Complete production and quality logs on paper and in Redzone.
• Move pallets with a pallet jack; perform material handling.
• Monitor product for quality and report issues to leads/QA.
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the area clean and safe.
• Communicate effectively with packaging team members.
• Assemble, apply labels, pack, move or open containers as needed.
• Stand, walk, and lift (up to 25 lbs. periodically) for 8–12 hour shifts.

Looking for Machine Operators with GMP exp in the High Point area

• Maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety programs and procedures
• Following our site-wide Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GFSI audit protocols
• Operating and adjusting equipment according to machinery specifications and quality parameters. This includes setting up, starting up, and proper shutdown of each piece of equipment
• Meeting production efficiency standards for shift
• Completing production and quality logs both on paper using good documentation practices and in Redzone according to requirements
• Manually moving pallets of materials or finished goods with pallet jack
• Monitoring product for quality issues throughout shift. Report product or equipment issues to the production process lead or quality assurance technician and follow proper procedures
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the production area clutter-free, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Effectively communicate with other packaging team members
• Use hands to assemble, apply labels, pack, move or open containers
• Constantly stand and walk about work area for duration of shift.
• Lifting requirements vary by machine operation type:o Oven Operators: Ability to lift and move 5-10 lbs. frequently and up to 25 lbs. periodically
• Ability to push/pull product and materials using a manual / electronic pallet jack
• Bending, standing, walking, stooping, squatting for duration of 8-12-hour shift
