Job summary

Flexon Technologies Inc. in Washington DC is seeking an OutSystems Architect for an onsite/hybrid role (3 days in office). You will lead technical assessments, design IT solutions, and partner with the sales team to create compelling proposals.

The ideal candidate has 15–20 years in software, with at least 7 years in OutSystems, and strong communication, business modelling, and architecture skills across web and mobile. BS/BA in CS or similar is required; agile experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software industry with at least 7 years in OutSystems.
• Ability to deliver high quality presentations and workshops to customers and CIOs.
• Experience designing technical solutions from customer requirements.
• Strong architectural and IT-architecture knowledge with agile fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customers' functional and technical requirements to design technical solutions.
• Lead technical evaluation processes and deliver proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with sales to craft proposals that align to customer needs.
• Explain IT architectures and OutSystems fit within customer ecosystems.
• Work with delivery teams and partners to enable successful deployments.
• Present technical material clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The activities performed by an OutSystems Solution Architect are diverse one day you might be assisting with a high level pitch of the OutSystems technology to a CIO, and the next day you might be working hands on to develop a small proof of concept.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum of 15 years related experience with a software company, where in 7 years in OutSystems. Work as an IT expert and evangelist while supporting customers in their technical evaluation process by delivering high quality presentations and workshops.
• Analyse the customers' functional and technical requirements to design technical solutions.
• Work closely with the sales team in the creation of proposals that present compelling technical solutions that adjust to the customers' needs and requirements.
• Understand the customers' IT architecture to clarify the strategic fit of the OutSystems technology with their IT ecosystem.
• Work together with the OutSystems Solution delivery team in the delivery of successful Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Work with OutSystems partners to develop technical capabilities and competencies to sell and deliver OutSystems solutions and technology.
• BS/BA in computer science or similar. Knowledge of web development or mobile app development, business modelling, database concepts and project management preferably using Agile Development Methodologies.
• Good oral, written and presentation skills, with ability to organize and present technical material in an easily understood manner. Deep insight on technical architectures, IT products and product positioning.
