Allergist/The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center

The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking an allergist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor on the Clinician Educator or Physician Scientist/Investigator track.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include outpatient activities at our Bronx and Westchester faculty practice sites, inpatient consultations at Montefiore-affiliated Hospitals, and the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• We seek applicants trained at an ACGME accredited Allergy & Immunology program and board certified/ eligible in Allergy & Immunology.

Requirements

• We provide our patients with expert diagnoses and aggressive treatment approaches.
• Rather than simply treating symptoms, we identify the causes of allergies and then develop treatment plans tailored to a patient's individual allergy problem.
• Our experts regularly appear on year-end lists of the best physicians in the New York metropolitan area, and patients in need of specialized care are often referred to us by their primary care physicians.

Montefiore Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $200k-$240k annually.
