Medical Oncologist for Community/Academic Position in New York-Metro Area

The Department of Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking applications to fill two immediate openings in the Division of Community Oncology/Hematology to accommodate unprecedented growth at different off-campus sites in the Bronx and Southern Westchester counties.

In addition to a competitive salary of $275,000-450,000, we offer the opportunity to make more income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.

Responsibilities

• The Division of Community Oncology/Hematology has currently 10 full-time faculty members.
• The successful candidates will be present for 3 days a week at various inpatient locations and 2 days a week in outpatient clinics. There will be opportunity to increase outpatient clinic days as practice volume increases.
• They will participate in all departmental activities, including possible clinical and translational research.

Requirements

• Applicants should have completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and be Board Eligible in both specialties.
• The applicants will have an academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in accordance with their credentials.
• The Department of Oncology at Montefiore/Einstein has 56 full-time faculty members, 45 clinicians and 11 laboratory scientists.
• The Department is an essential component of the NCI-designated Albert Einstein Cancer Center.
