Brixey & Meyer in Dayton, OH seeks an Accounting Manager in its CFO Services practice to oversee multiple client engagements and manage a team of seniors and accountants. The role focuses on outsourced accounting and interim controller work, coaching staff, and building client relationships.

You will become an expert in QuickBooks Online and ERP systems, drive process improvements, meet billing targets, and contribute to practice development while upholding the firm’s culture and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master's preferred.
• CPA or relevant certification preferred.
• 2+ years of managerial or direct supervisory experience.
• Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products.
• Experience or interest in leveraging automation or AI tools.
• Valid Driver's license and transportation to client sites up to 1 hour from the home office location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple client engagements and manage a team of Seniors and Accountants.
• Provide high-quality CFO Services to clients and manage expectations for exceptional service.
• Mentor and coach staff; ensure timely delivery and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Assist with firm administrative tasks for CFO Services (scheduling, sales, billing).
• Promote the firm and participate in business development activities.
