Brixey & Meyer is seeking a CFO Services Manager to lead multiple client engagements and supervise a team of Seniors and Accountants. The role focuses on outsourced accounting and interim Controller services, with emphasis on coaching staff and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a finance/accounting background, 5+ years in public accounting, and experience with automation/ERP tools. Firm offers a hybrid work model and robust professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; Master’s preferred.
• 2+ years of managerial or direct supervisory experience.
• Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Experience or interest in automation/AI-based tools.
• Valid driver’s license and travel to client sites within ~1 hour from home office.
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Desire to contribute to our culture and have fun at work.
• 5+ years of qualified work experience in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CFO services to clients and manage engagements.
• Oversee multiple engagements, allocate staff, and meet deadlines.
• Mentor and coach senior staff and accountants.
• Manage client relationships and pursue practice development opportunities.
• Becomes an expert in QuickBooks Online and other ERP systems used by clients.
• Assist in hiring, developing, and managing CFO Services team members.
• Support budgeting, billing, and performance reviews as needed.
