Job summary

Harris Health in Houston, TX seeks a Manager Outsourced Care Management (MOCM) to oversee operational, HR, care coordination and financial management of Outsourced Care Management. The MOCM reports to the Director and ensures services align with contracts and Harris Health policies.

The role requires nursing leadership, significant clinical and management experience, and the ability to mentor staff while maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required. Master's degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Holds at least one of the following in Nursing: Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Applicable professional certification in administration or clinical specialty to be completed within two years of appointment.
• Five years of work experience in related clinical area of practice.
• Three years of related management/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational, HR, care coordination and financial management of Outsourced Care Management.
• Translate system plans into actionable department plan and ensure adherence to contracts and policies.
• Provide oversight for care coordination, quality management, regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Mentor staff, promote professional nursing practice and staff development.
• Implement escalation processes for unique situations within the department.
