THF CPAs in Tallahassee, FL, seeks an Outsourced Accounting Staff to support a growing client base with hands-on accounting and advisory services. The role emphasizes accuracy, client communication, and teamwork in a collaborative, in-office setting.

You’ll build client relationships while expanding technical skills, with opportunities across accounts payable/receivable, reporting, and general ledger tasks.

• Have a high school diploma, or equivalent
• Have at least 5 years of accounting services or related experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly
• Great interpersonal and customer service skills
• Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Work well independently and in a team environment
• Willing to assume responsibility for assigned work without undue supervision
• Highly proficient with Excel
• Experience with Bill.com and QuickBooks preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
• Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Maintain historical records by filing documents.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Communicate with clients and team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

This is an in-person at the office working role. You’ll find that between our regular team meetings, firm retreats, participation in industry specific events, and our involvement in professional organizations, we are committed to staying connected as a team.
