Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Sacramento is seeking an Outside Food Service Sales Rep to develop customer accounts, write orders, and exceed expectations. This full-time role supports sales growth and requires customer focus, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.

The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years in relevant sales, a valid driver's license, and travel up to 75%. The team values teamwork, quality, and excellence while offering a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university or comparable professional experience.
• 3-5 years restaurant management, retail, or perishable food sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Seafood/protein experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new customers, and increase demand for existing accounts.
• Increase sales through additional line-item placements and effective quotes.
• Provide guidance and service to customers; manage credit terms and company policies.
• Monitor sales volumes, margins, and report variances to Sales Manager and Supervisor.
• Create and execute territory sales plans and support promotional activities.
