R3 Roofing & Exteriors in Illinois is hiring an Outside Sales Representative I (Setter) to connect with homeowners in Gurnee and nearby communities. You will generate leads by offering complimentary property inspections and scheduling appointments, while you learn the roofing and storm restoration business.

You will not perform inspections yourself; you’ll hand leads to a Closer to proceed. This 1099 contractor role emphasizes field work, coaching, performance, and advancement to closer roles,

Qualifications

• No roofing experience required and no prior sales experience needed; training will be provided.
• Motivated to work in residential neighborhoods across Gurnee, IL and surrounding communities.
• Willing to operate as a 1099 independent contractor and complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Engage with homeowners in residential neighborhoods throughout Gurnee, IL and surrounding areas.
• Offer complimentary property inspections and schedule appointments.
• Maintain clear communication with your assigned Closer and ensure a smooth handoff.
• Build rapport and trust with homeowners while representing R3 professionally.
• Generate quality leads and referrals.
• Participate in training, coaching, competitions, and development opportunities.
