RoofX in Southwest Ohio is seeking Roofing Advisors to join our residential sales team. You will meet homeowners, assess roofing needs, present solutions, and guide them through the purchase with our proven sales process.

We offer uncapped commissions, paid training, company-provided leads, and a $5,000 retention bonus after 90 days. You’ll work full-time with support from marketing, production, and office teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of outside or in-home sales, commission-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able to present, price, and close roofing solutions.
• Willingness to travel throughout Southwest Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Run scheduled residential sales appointments.
• Perform roof inspections and identify homeowner needs.
• Build relationships and educate customers.
• Present Good / Better / Best roofing solutions.
• Explain roofing systems, warranties, pricing, and financing.
• Close residential roofing projects.
• Maintain accurate estimates using company software.
• Maintain follow-up with prospects and manage CRM data.
• Collect required deposits and documentation.
• Coordinate with production and office teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Generate referrals, networking, and prospecting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a RoofX Roofing Advisor, you'll work directly with homeowners to evaluate their roofing needs, recommend solutions, and guide them confidently through the buying process.

Your responsibilities include:

• Run scheduled residential sales appointments throughout our service area.
• Perform professional roof inspections and identify homeowner needs.
• Build relationships and establish trust through education and honest recommendations.
• Present Good / Better / Best roofing solutions.
• Explain roofing systems, warranties, pricing, and financing options.
• Confidently ask for the sale and close residential roofing projects.
• Build accurate estimates using company software.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective customers.
• Manage appointments, customer information, and sales activity in our CRM.
• Collect required deposits and documentation according to company procedures.
• Work with our production and office teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Generate additional opportunities through referrals, networking, and prospecting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Our ideal candidate:

• Has 1+ year of outside sales, in-home sales, or commission-based sales experience (preferred).
• Is confident presenting products, discussing pricing, and asking for the sale.
• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Is competitive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve goals.
• Takes ownership of performance and follows through on commitments.
• Welcomes coaching and continuously works to improve.
• Is organized, dependable, and comfortable using technology.
• Can safely climb ladders and perform residential roof inspections.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and perform roof inspections.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel throughout our Southwest Ohio service area.
