As an Orkin Termite Sales Inspector, you specialize in promoting and safeguarding homes through comprehensive termite protection services. You engage homeowners with a persuasive pitch backed by Orkin’s 125‑year legacy and award‑winning training that emphasizes professionalism, expertise, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety in all tasks.
- Conduct yourself with integrity, professionalism, and empathy toward customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver using in‑depth training to recommend tailored pest solutions.
- Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business, utilizing assigned leads from a robust advertising budget.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet customers at homes to explain how Orkin’s products give peace of mind.
- Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, scrutinizing interior and exterior spaces.
- Prepare sales agreements using the iPad provided, and explain recommendations, processes, and expectations to customers.

- During the first 90 days, hourly compensation is $28.85; after completing required licensure, transition to a base salary plus commission.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain necessary pesticide license/certification (company‑paid).
- Independently work in the field while interacting with clients.
Work Environment
Candidates must meet the following physical requirements and be able to safely perform job duties:
- Use ladders within manufacturer weight limits.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including possible OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Work in various weather conditions.
