Outside Sales Representative - Single Family Unit

Full‑time sales representative responsible for selling Video, Voice, and Data services to residential customers in single family homes within a defined territory.

• Builds rapport and provides excellent customer service to meet and exceed established sales goals through door‑to‑door canvassing.
• Conducts cold canvases, delivers sales presentations to non‑subscribers and existing subscribers, and recommends services using consultative sales skills.
• Completes end‑to‑end order entry, basic installations of video and data services, and maintains accurate sales activity records.
• Works independently in the field 90% of the week, uses own vehicle for local travel, and attends team meetings and sales events as scheduled.
• Handles customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims, and resolves issues to maximize satisfaction and reduce churn.
• Participates in team sales blitzes, new release activities, and special projects as required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in marketing, sales, or sales operations (preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of technical applications and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of the cable industry and products preferred.
• Enthusiastic, team‑oriented, and self‑motivated to achieve goals.
• BS/BA in a related discipline strongly desired; telecommunications industry experience preferred.
• Two (2) years of proven door‑to‑door or face‑to‑face sales experience.
