Ferguson is seeking a proven HVAC Outside Sales Representative to fill an immediate need within growing market opportunities. If you are self-motivated, dedicated, and excel at providing phenomenal customer service while contributing to the success of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this role is for you!

This is a field-based sales position supporting customers in the Metro St. Louis area. The role requires being based in this region. We provide a fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone, and laptop.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, collaborating with branch associates to ensure customer satisfaction from order to delivery and beyond.
  2. Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base by developing sales strategies and targeting new accounts in collaboration with management.
  3. Perform duties such as product quotations and resolving issues.
  4. Analyze competition within the territory, devise sales strategies, and communicate these strategies to management.
  5. Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge to maintain a professional image in the field.
  6. Document all sales activities in our Customer Relationship Management tool (Salesforce) for ongoing evaluation and measurement of sales results.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry-related sales experience.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, capable of completing tasks promptly, building relationships, and thriving in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills.
  • Basic digital literacy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly.

This position offers commission-based compensation with an estimated total range of $80,000 - $125,000+ annually.
