What You’ll Do

As our Outside Sales Representative - Fire and Life Safety Consultant, you will:

• Build relationships with restaurant owners, facility managers, and commercial kitchen operators.
• Prospect and acquire new B2B clients across Bergen County.
• Educate clients on fire safety compliance, kitchen exhaust cleaning, and mandated services.
• Prepare custom proposals and service plans to meet specific needs.
• Conduct onsite assessments and inspections.
• Maintain and grow client accounts over time through trust and follow-up.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Work independently in the field, managing your territory and appointments.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of B2B sales or field sales experience (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client trust
• Comfortable with cold outreach and territory building
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and coachable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to work in and around commercial kitchen environments, rooftops, etc.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fire safety, facility services, or restaurant industry is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in fire safety or sales are beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Fire Science, or related field preferred but not required.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working at heights (e.g., rooftops, ladders)
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and walk job sites as needed
• Willing to travel locally within Bergen County and surrounding area
  
  
  

Compensation Summary

We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward your success:
