ABC Supply Interiors seeks a service oriented Outside Sales Representative to grow relationships and take its sales to the next level in the Roanoke, VA area. You will cultivate customer relationships, manage the complete sales cycle, and deliver quotes and solutions for building materials.

The role involves creating a sales plan, pursuing new leads, and collaborating with customers on training and support while ensuring timely payments and consistent growth with a competitive pay and commission

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in business development and strong sales skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships and advance sales in our Roanoke market.
• Lead all steps of the sales process with customers and create/ pursue leads.
• Develop a sales plan targeting customers and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
• Make cold calls, schedule appointments, and follow up with customers to address needs/solutions.
• Prepare quotes for customers and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Assist customers with training on product lines and services and ensure payment collection when needed.

ABC Supply Interiors is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. ABC Supply Interiors delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.ABC Supply Interiors is looking for a service oriented Outside Sales Representative to cultivate relationships and take its sales to the next level.Specific duties may include:Cultivating and managing customer relationshipsConduct all steps of the sales process with customersCreate and pursue customer leadsCreate a sales plan and target customers accordinglyIdentify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sellMaking cold calls to prospective customersFollowing sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customersFollowing up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern ariseProviding training to customers and their teams on various product lines and servicesDirect the creation of quotes for customersSolicit feedback from customers on products and services and provide to the Sales Manager and/or Branch Manager for appropriate follow-up actionGather competitive market and pricing informationConnecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessarySpecific qualifications include:College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferredProven experience in business development and strong sales skillsMust have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirementsExceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorSuperior time-management and organization skillsPositive, team-oriented attitudeABC Supply Interiors values hard work and dedication and rewards its associates with an excellent compensation package.
