Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative specializing in sprinkler systems. This individual will be responsible for generating leads, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our sprinkler products and services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience in the irrigation or landscaping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and visiting potential clients within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting the features and benefits of sprinkler systems and solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate sprinkler products or services to meet those needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure profitable sales.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and quotas.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and new products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate installations, deliveries, and after-sales support.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM tools.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in fire sprinklers, fire suppression, life safety, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sprinkler systemsproducts is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel frequently within assigned territory.
  • Ability to lift and carry product samples and demonstration materials.
