The position of Outside Sales Representative will be based out of our Omaha, NE location!

Summary

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for sales and marketing efforts aimed at increasing profitable sales through building and maintaining high-quality relationships with new and existing customers. Utilize company digital tools and products to connect with consumers, develop solutions, generate sales, and provide excellent customer service.

What You'll Do
  • Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products, effectively communicating features and benefits.
  • Grow business by acquiring new customers and selling additional products to existing customers.
  • Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers on sales strategies and market development.
  • Assist customers with product selection and application, utilizing internal and external expertise.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • Evaluate customer operations to identify objectives and needs, presenting tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate with customers and team members for quotes and ongoing communication.
  • Work with management and customers to resolve payment issues promptly.
  • Report on market trends, competitors, and pricing to management.
  • Participate in professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and expenses.
  • Coordinate sales calls with vendors to introduce and demonstrate products.
  • Utilize digital tools and customer solutions to gain a competitive edge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Positive, helpful attitude and sensitivity to customer needs.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Product and application knowledge.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Includes exposure to noise, temperature extremes, electrical hazards, and travel. Physical requirements include sitting, walking, handling objects, and other physical activities as described.
