Job summary

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, including its KeyTrak division, is seeking a top-performing sales professional to expand our automotive market presence in Omaha, NE. You will build your client base, manage relationships, and close deals, with a base salary of $60,000 and total first-year target compensation around $85,000 including commissions.

Training is provided through internal courses and field mentoring, and you will travel to customer sites as needed to demonstrate products and secure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong closing and negotiating skills.
• Able to lift, carry, and maneuver 70lbs of demonstration equipment to customer sites.
• Goal oriented, coachable, organized and creative.
• Experience in new business sales is preferred.
• Able to travel overnight with hotel stays up to 2-3 night/week.

Having spent three decades improving and perfecting the art of asset management, KeyTrak is considered the industry leader in key control and is dedicated to constantly evolving and producing more secure systems.

In this position you will sell our key control solutions to the automotive market in an assigned territory. Your time will be spent growing your customer base while also managing and maintaining customer accounts and relationships.

You will be responsible for developing your own leads and will build your client base through sales to new and/or existing accounts within your market. You will prospect potential customers in order to demonstrate the features and benefits of products, present proposals, and close deals. If you are a self-motivated, disciplined, and outgoing sales individual that is interested in bettering yourself and becoming part of an industry leader, this is the position for you!

You will receive a base salary of $60,000 and total targeted compensation for the first year is expected to be $85,000/year including commissions.

Training

Our training consists of time with experienced representatives in the field, online courses completed in your home office, and classroom instruction at Reynolds University, our award-winning internal learning institution in Dayton, Ohio. You will complete ten different courses at Reynolds University throughout your first year. Topics covered will include training on sales techniques, negotiations, dealership operations, and in-depth product training on our Dealership Retail Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• Strong closing and negotiating skills
• Able to lift, carry, and maneuver 70lbs of demonstration equipment to customer sites
• Goal oriented, coachable, organized and creative
• Experience in new business sales is preferred
• Able to travel overnight with hotel stays up to 2-3 night/week
• Recent cold-calling experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
