Job summary

Vanguard Truck Centers in Georgetown, TX is seeking a full-time Parts/Sales associate to visit assigned customers and coordinate parts orders. The role requires maintaining customer records, updating orders, and coordinating with service teams to ensure timely delivery.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to prospect new customers and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Willingness to visit assigned customers and coordinate with service and parts teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain customer records.

Responsibilities

• Visits assigned customers.
• Prospects for new customers.
• Communicates parts orders to counter staff and confirms stock or emergency status.
• Verifies delivery dates for non-stock items before ordering.
• Reviews special orders with the parts manager and obtains approval.
• Obtains approvals for any special pricing.
• Advises counterperson on delivery instructions.
• Follows up on orders to ensure customers are served properly.
• Coordinates service sales with service salespeople.
• Turns in call reports, time sheets and expense reports.
• Updates customer records and adds new customers to mailing lists.
• Attends training seminars when possible.
• Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership.
• Maintains professional appearance.
