Qualifications

• Some knowledge of construction industry and local building codes preferred.
• Ability to read plans and truss layouts.
• Current driver’s license and automobile insurance with a good driving record.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven sales track record.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Learn company products, procedures, culture and customer service philosophy.
• Learn order procedures including credits and receiving.
• Develop relationships with customers to complete take-offs, bids and quotes.
• Prepare and present accurate sales proposals and quotes.
• Maximize sales in existing market areas and provide prompt service.
