Job summary

Weimer Bearing is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow revenue and expand customer relationships in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. You will manage a high-potential territory, visit customers, qualify opportunities, and deliver industrial solutions with a focus on service excellence.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to travel regularly, and a track record of closing new business, ideally in power transmission, bearings, or related industries.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven success in prospecting, lead generation and closing new business.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
• Previous outside sales experience preferred, especially in industrial settings.
• Experience with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an assigned sales territory through regular customer visits and daily travel.
• Prospect, qualify and secure new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers.
• Develop long-term partnerships with OEM and MRO accounts.
• Identify customer challenges and recommend effective product and service solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer support and responsiveness.
• Participate in comprehensive product training and mentorship programs.
• Develop strategic plans to grow market share and increase territory performance.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and drive long-term business growth.
