Job summary

Rapid Response Monitoring seeks an experienced sales professional to expand our multistate customer base. You will promote our security products and services, conduct demonstrations, and develop new business in an assigned region with a focus on outstanding client service.

The role involves coordinating with the Director of Sales and other departments to resolve issues, maintain relationships, and drive regional growth. A strong background in security or telecom sales is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge of Triangulum AI™, IRIS, video platforms, Answering Service, GPS portals, Data Entry Workflow, and dealer interfaces.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft computer systems and office software.
  • Must be able to fluently communicate in English with good grammar and spelling.
  • Marketing or Communications background/education a plus.
  • Filing experience and confidentiality practices are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Make sales calls within a multistate territory to develop new business and ensure high quality customer service to current clients.
  • Explain to clients and leads the full range of company services and products available.
  • Develop new business in assigned region and respond to client needs accordingly.
  • Conduct demonstrations and presentations to existing and prospective customers/dealers.
  • Organize customer/dealer events, trainings, tours, and trade shows as needed.
  • Prepare quotes, budgets, reports, and maintain client interactions records.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to maintain efficient office procedures and routines.
  • Serve as liaison between departments regarding customer/dealer issues and needs.
  • Provide recommendations for sales guides, brochures, and data sheets.
  • Stay informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of marketing and demonstration materials.
  • Maintain business expense records and weekly reimbursements.

Location

This position is based in the Midwest region.

Job Summary

Responsible for selling Company product lines and services, developing new business and maintaining assigned customers/dealers. Cultivates additional customers in an assigned geographical area, contributing to and supporting regional goals and plans, products and service developments. Works as assigned to meet other department/Company objectives. Sells and promotes products and services of the Company within a specific, assigned parameter which may include relocating to the state of California. Works with the Director of Sales to resolve customer issues and promote the Company’s positive image/status in the security industry and with current potential customers.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience

Responsibilities
  • Make sales calls within a multistate territory to develop new business and ensure high quality customer service to current clients
  • Ensure our current clients as well as qualified leads have a full understanding of company services and products available to them
  • Develop new business in assigned region while communicating effectively with our current client base and responding to their needs accordingly.
  • Conducts demonstrations and presentations to existing and prospective customers/dealers.
  • Organizes and participates in customer/dealer and industry symposiums, trainings, facility tours, conventions, association meetings, exhibitions, trade shows and etc. as required or as may benefit the Company’s relations and business development.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as researching client business needs; preparing sales budgets and quotes; generating and analyzing reports; and recording client interactions
  • Collaborate with other Sales and Marketing personnel to establish and maintain efficient office procedures and practices and routines.
  • Acts as a liaison between all departments regarding customer/dealer issues and needs.
  • Advises the departments of customer/dealer complaints, seeing that appropriate actions are taken to reach a satisfactory resolution. Reports to the customer/dealer the actions taken to correct issues and complaints.
  • Submits recommendations to the Director of Sales regarding needs for sales guides, brochures, technical data, service description sheets and etc.
  • Engages in continuous self-development through formal or other educational activities, including but not limited to seminars, workshops, certification sessions, licensing, or independent study to improve personal knowledge of the security industry, its regulations and applications, etc.
  • Performs other related duties to the Sales & Marketing Department’s function as assigned by the Director of Sales that shall be beneficial to the Company, customers/dealers, and the promotion and development of new business.
  • Stay informed of market conditions; product innovations; and competitors’ products, prices and services
  • Required to maintain an up-to-date and accurate inventory of marketing and demonstration products of/for all Rapid Response marketing and sales materials as may be required for distribution to current and potential customers/dealers.
  • Responsible for maintaining business expense records and weekly submission of company reimbursable expenses in compliance with Rapid Response Monitoring expense/accounting policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient knowledge of Triangulum AI™, IRIS, all Video Platforms, Answering Service, GPS portals, Data Entry Workflow, and all Rapid Response dealer interface portals.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft computer systems, software, with the ability to adequately operate a computer/word processing equipment and all other general office equipment.
  • Must be able to fluently communicate in English with a working knowledge of grammar and spelling required.
  • Any Marketing or Communications background/education a plus.
  • Filing experience and the understanding/ability to maintain practices of top-level confidentiality a must.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three to five years of sales experience preferably in the security industry and/or telecommunications and/or electronic monitoring.
  • Certification Required
    • Must be eligible for/acquire SIA Certification
    • Must be eligible for/acquire Department of Defense Clearance of SECRET.
    • Must be eligible for/acquire NYC Fire Certification
    • Must be eligible for/acquire Commonwealth of Virginia Certification
    • Ability/eligibility to be certified in all 50 states
Equipment Used
  • Operates standard office equipment with emphasis on PC/Microsoft Office Suite, Zoho CRM, and Company’s Triangulum AI software. Responsible for the physical condition, maintenance and effective utilization of assigned company owned equipment including, but not limited to computer systems and peripherals, cellular telephone, demonstration kits, and vehicles assigned or rented by the Company for business use. Required to maintain daily mileage and maintenance logs for assigned/used vehicles as related to business use.
