Outside Sales Account Manager - Healthcare - Orlando

  • 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience.

Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with such operation being more than 20% of the work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required, and will be verified upon hiring.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all organizational levels, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers to diversify the customer base.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand the business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing input for sales strategies.
  • Attend monthly business meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization at regional or national activities as needed.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrate skill in data analysis by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies in complex data sets.
  • Work independently with guidance only on unusual or complex issues; work is periodically reviewed by supervisors or clients.
  • May provide guidance or training to junior personnel.
  • Work is performed in a comfortable indoor environment; infrequent exposure to unpleasant conditions.
  • Most of the work involves sitting, with opportunities to move about; occasional lifting of light articles.
  • Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline, with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
