Job summary

Dykman Electrical in Vancouver, WA, is seeking an enthusiastic Outside Sales professional to build lasting customer relationships and drive practical solutions in a fast-paced industrial distribution environment.

You will maintain a healthy sales pipeline, develop knowledge of Dykman solutions, hunt new opportunities, quote and process orders in Sage 100 ERP, and collaborate with vendors to meet client needs. This is a full-time, on-site role that values integrity and customer-first service.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required, but relevant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep a healthy pipeline and exceed personal sales goals
• Develop deep personal expertise and understanding of Dykman solutions
• Hunt for new business opportunities within our core offerings and territory
• Network with existing accounts to provide continuous service and solutions
• Prepare and submit quotes, purchase orders, and sales orders in Sage 100 ERP
• Optimize, prepare and pitch the best product offerings based on customer needs, schedule, and budget
• Coordinate and schedule customer trainings, road shows, and/or lunch and learn engagements
• Create and maintain customer relationships to solve problems and gain sales
• Partner with vendors to provide product knowledge for customers
• Calculate product pricing and negotiate with customers

Who You Are:

Our Outside Sales team is responsible for developing strong relationships to ensure customer success by formulating solutions. They identify, acquire, and maintain accounts, with the goal of long-term profitable growth through customer satisfaction, product/pricing alignment, and strategic alliances.
