Lansing Building Products is seeking a positive, motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The role covers Broward County and Miami‑Dade County, with regular travel to build relationships and drive growth.

Our ideal candidate will excel in prospecting new business, meeting contractors, remodelers, and builders, and maintaining long‑term relationships while meeting sales targets. The position offers a competitive compensation package with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

2+ years of territory management and B2B outside sales experience, focused on new business development.
Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales.
College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads with 8–10 daily sales appointments; ensure timely follow-up.
Meet face to face with contractors, remodelers, and builders to educate them on our products and services, demonstrating value.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering proactive solutions.
Use Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.

A Day in the Life at Lansing: Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a positive, motivated, and results‑driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team.

While this role is aligned with our West Palm Beach branch, the assigned sales territory covers Broward County and Miami‑Dade County, requiring regular travel throughout the market to build relationships and drive business growth. Our ideal candidate will excel in prospecting new business and relationship building, while maintaining a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.

In addition to living our Mission of Respect, Service, and Excellence responsibilities include:

New Business Development: Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, through 8 – 10 daily sales appointments. Ensure timely follow‑up through the Lansing Sales Cycle.
Customer Meetings: Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions
Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.

Outside Sales Qualifications

2+ years of experience in territory management, B2B outside sales, with a focus on new business development
Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales

Outside Sales Compensation Package

Base salary (Include Range) plus uncapped commission, with a strong focus on performance‑based incentives.
