Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary will be determined by factors such as role scope, complexity, location, candidate skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentives as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

Salary Range

$46,400.00 - $76,600.00

What Is the Opportunity?

This position covers the San Francisco Bay, CA area and is based 100% remotely, including a combination of mobile work and/or work from your primary residence.

This is an entry-level position requiring satisfactory completion of training to advance to Claim Professional, Outside Property content. It is designed to develop skills in investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving claims of lesser value and complexity. Responsibilities include providing quality claim handling throughout the claim lifecycle, maintaining compliance with standards and regulations.

What Will You Do?
  • Complete required training through online, virtual, classroom, and on-the-job methods, which may require travel.
  • Handle 1st party property content claims with moderate to high severity, including field inspections, damages assessment, negotiations, and settlements.
  • Investigate and evaluate claims, determine coverage, damages, and liability, and work with vendors and insureds.
  • Establish claim and expense reserves, negotiate claim settlements, and communicate effectively through complex correspondence.
  • Manage claim files, ensure quality standards, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in CAT Duty, which may require deployment for at least 16 days to assist in other states.
  • Maintain necessary licenses and comply with physical requirements, including climbing ladders and inspecting structures.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or at least two years of related experience.
  • Ownership attitude, customer focus, strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical thinking and judgment skills at a basic level.
  • Valid passport preferred.
What is a Must Have?
  • High School Diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Valid driver's license.
