Compensation Overview: The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries across the country. The actual salary will depend on factors such as role scope, complexity, location, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

Salary Range: $101,300.00 - $167,000.00

What Is the Opportunity?: There is potential for a $5,000 sign-on bonus! This position is based 100% remotely, with a requirement to cover certain Maryland areas. Candidates must reside in or near these territories.

Role Description: Under general direction, as a member of the local line of business management team, responsible for product quality and performance of a specific team of Outside Property claim professionals. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to direct reports. Serve as a field representative for the Home Office Property product as needed. Reinforce the LOB vision, strategies, and objectives through actions and communication.

What Will You Do?

• Attract, Retain, and Develop Talent: Proactively recruit, onboard effectively, manage performance, address training needs, develop succession plans, and implement retention strategies.
• Provide Claim Services: Employ proper claim handling techniques, develop and execute file management strategies, conduct quality reviews, and improve customer service and cost management.
• Leverage Data and Technology: Use management information and technology to support business strategies and improve results.
• Achieve Solutions: Focus on resolution, process improvement, and cost efficiency within budget constraints.
• Partner for Success: Build effective relationships with colleagues, partners, customers, and regulatory agencies. Participate in meetings and visits as required. Obtain and maintain necessary insurance licenses within three months, including ongoing continuing education.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, inspecting structures, and entering tight spaces.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Claim management experience preferred.
• Leadership skills including results-driven mindset, change management, strategic execution, talent attraction, performance maximization, accountability, reward alignment, and fostering a dynamic workplace.

Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years claim work experience in at least one line of business.
• Valid Driver's License.
