Job summary

Mt Olive Pickle Company in Mount Olive, NC seeks an Outside Production Forklift Operator for the day shift. You will safely operate a forklift in the tank yard to unload and transport raw materials such as cucumbers, brine stock, and packaging containers.

Responsibilities include loading trucks, moving materials between graders, washers, and unloaders, and performing routine safety checks. A high school diploma and forklift certification are preferred, with the ability to read and write English

Qualifications

• High school diploma; certified forklift operator.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to unload incoming trucks and transport raw materials in the yard.
• Load outgoing trucks with brine stock, pallets and bins.
• Transport materials between graders, washers, and other process equipment as required.
• Dump raw materials into hoppers and assist with material handling tasks.
• Follow safety rules and company policies while performing duties.
