Job summary

ITW Automotive is seeking an Outside Processing & Shipping Coordinator to manage the movement of parts to and from outside processing vendors and to perform shipping/receiving duties within a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to paperwork accuracy and vendor coordination. Forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous forklift experience and ability to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain paperwork for parts sent to outside processing vendors.
• Coordinate the shipment and return of parts to/from outside processors.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, purchase orders, and other required documentation before shipments leave the facility.
• Receive and inspect incoming processed parts for proper identification and documentation.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Safely move, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility.
• Ensure parts are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
• Maintain accurate records of parts sent to and received from outside processors.
• Enter and maintain information in the company's ERP system, such as SAP, as required.
• Communicate with outside vendors, freight carriers, production personnel, purchasing, and other departments regarding the status and movement of parts.
• Identify and report discrepancies involving quantities, paperwork, damaged materials, or missing parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and material-handling requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Outside Processing & Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement of parts to and from outside processing vendors while ensuring all required paperwork and documentation is accurate and complete. This position also performs shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks, staging materials, and maintaining accurate records of parts in transit.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail to ensure parts, quantities, paperwork, and vendor requirements are properly coordinated.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain paperwork and documentation for parts being sent to outside processing vendors.

Work Environment

This position is primarily performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and requires regular movement throughout the facility. The employee may be exposed to manufacturing equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and operating material-handling equipment, as well as loading and unloading materials.
