Job Description

Shift: Mon - Fri Swing

SUMMARY

Deals directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of product to appropriate locations. Inspects product upon delivery to verify delivered product specifications match adherence to all QCM/QCI requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Review and schedule outside processing product loads to ensure that shop floor schedules and customer requirements are met.
  • Communicate with vendors in regards to week/monthly delivery requirements and capacity thru-put issues.
  • Insure vendor adherence to all QCM/QCI requirements (i.e., Tech cards, certifications, etc.)
  • Interact with Manufacturing and Planning concerning outside processing needs to insure product meets schedule requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining critical part movement and supporting month-end shipping requirements.
  • Coordinate and give direction in order to facilitate meeting shop floor schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Education & Experience
  • 5 - 7 years of work experience of Outside processing vendor base and Knowledge of investment casting finishing processes, i.e. machining, heat treat-vacuum/atmosphere, cleaning strongly preferred.
  • Production scheduling experience preferred.
  • Required Skills & Abilities
  • Able to work weekends and non-standard hours.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in math and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; proven decision making ability.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-task skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Any other job duties that the supervisor may request
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
