Job summary

Carriage Services in Fairfax, VA seeks an Advanced Planning Counselor - Outside Sales Representative to assist client families with pre-need funeral and cemetery arrangements, while driving revenue through commissions. You will travel to meet clients, build relationships, and close appointments.

Responsibilities

• Meets with client families on a pre-need basis to present options for funeral and cremation services and related merchandise.
• Works independently away from the location to solicit new leads, referrals, and sales opportunities.
• Develops new prospects and community contacts through cold calling, referrals, seminars, and other methods.
• Maintains professional relationship with client families and ensures all needs are met.
• Represents the company in a caring, honest, and ethical manner and maintains professional appearance.
